As a native North Carolinian, I possess an unwavering love for my home state and an even deeper connection to the unique coastal town of Atlantic Beach, NC, where I was fortunate to make countless childhood memories that shaped who I am today. This welcoming, tight-knit community has embraced me as one of their own since 2020, when I moved here to work in the community mental health field. After 4.5 years in this demanding but rewarding career, I was compelled to fulfill my life’s purpose to help others and serve my local community in a different capacity, only I wasn’t quite sure how.

Forging a business specializing in handcrafted, sustainable outdoor furniture was not part of the original plan, but it became a natural evolution of my roots and experiences. My father and business partner, Darryl Bost, having built a 35+ year career in the furniture and bedding industry, suggested this approach. Having worked for his fabrication business myself during summers and holidays throughout my high school and undergraduate years, I developed a deep appreciation for this traditional NC homegrown industry. I was ultimately inspired to create a welcoming storefront where local artists and creators could showcase their talents through art, décor, and coastal-inspired crafts, celebrating the creativity, craftsmanship, and spirit of this special place we’re proud to call home.
